Summer Day Camp Information
Due to an overwhelming response to the preregistration for this Day Camp coming to Thorndale the link has been closed, and full registration will open at the beginning of April.
Please note that the only week that we are not offering camp is the week of August 7th. This Day Camp will be run out of the Thorndale Lions Community Centre located at 255 Queen Street. This camp is open to children 4yrs-12yrs as of July 3, 2017. We are offering a full day program from 9am-5pm with the option of early drop-off and late pick-up from 7:30am-5:30pm.
Children who attend this camp will be provided with a variety of experiences including but not limited to: sports, arts, and active games, trips to the local library for programming, fishing and boating at ECO Park, and access to the Splash Pad. Additionally, our camps provide healthy snacks and lunches daily as part of your registration fee. This food will be catered by the Thorndale Family Restaurant. The food is prepared in a nut free kitchen, and although they will strive to cater to dietary restrictions they are not a gluten or dairy free facility. They are also unable to offer food that is Halal.
Please follow this link in order to complete the registration process: https://form.jotform.ca/BGCL/ThorndaleReg
However, if you have any questions about the camp please don't hesitate to contact Arden McClean at: firstname.lastname@example.org or 519-434-9115 ext. 257.

Safety Meeting Minutes
I Love Thorndale's budget request declined.
Page 4 of the Signpost (April 26 issue) attempts to articulate the frustration the facilitators of I Love Thorndale feel with what is perceived as council's limited recognition of the significance of their work.
Please read the article and consider attending our next meeting, with hopes that we can get more insight in to this decision and how it affects our community.
