Shake the Sugar Tree is a home business that started in 2014. We make and sell handcrafted gourmet caramels, marshmallows, and modjeskas. We have several flavours of caramels and are constantly coming up with flavour ideas for the modjeskas (a modjeska is a decadent treat made of a bottom layer of caramel, a middle layer of homemade marshmallow, topped with top layer of caramel, chocolate and decorations). Although we used to do a lot of shows before the pandemic, we are now just online, until the pandemic has passed. We also have a Facebook group called Shake the Sugar Tree Tribe; which is a page of positivity for our customers and fellow vendors who can also share their shops so that we can shop locally.
