Most highschool student in the public school system go to either Medway Highschool or Lord Dorchester Secondary School.
Thorndale has plenty of amenities considering its small size. From the elementary school and dental centre to the west to the Lions Medical Centre, IDA Pharmacy, library to the east, with lots of things in between. For parks and recreational spaces, Thorndale has soccer fields, baseball diamonds, a skatepark, a splashpad, tennis courts, basketball court and playgrounds. Walking trails are currently being improved through Thames Centre's Trails & Cycling Master Plan. Additionally, many recreational programming opportunities are provided by the minor sports associations, The Boys & Girls Club of London, local businesses and I Love Thorndale.
