The Winter Carnival is Thorndale's latest tradition that keeps the community connected over the winter.
Every Family Day, the Thorndale Community Groups and volunteers prepare an afternoon of activities, treats and good ol' fashioned fun for neighbours to come together and participate in.
Classic favourites are the horse drawn sleigh rides, roasting marshmallows around the bonfire, hot dogs and hot chocolate - just to name a few.
In 2019, with the Thorndale Fire Department & TRS Components we created our first crokicurl game! While the weather didn't allow for it to completely freeze, it was still 50% usable and a big attraction.
It's like Thorndale's own Hallmark movie.
