Thorndale Youth

About the Youth of Thorndale

The Youth of Thorndale (Y.O.T.) is a group of youth leaders from Thorndale who plan fun events and activities for their peers and are actively fundraising to create a "Clubhouse" or Youth Centre in Thorndale. Their mission is to make Thorndale a more youth-friendly community.

There are two active youth groups run through I Love Thorndale:
Youth of Thorndale - Their focus is planning and facilitating youth-led community events.
Youth Clubhouse - Their focus is on the planning and creation of a youth space in the community.

Upcoming Events

We are excited about a special Youth of Thorndale meeting scheduled for Tuesday, May 4 at 4:30pm on Zoom! The theme of this meeting is Youth Summer Businesses!
Youth ages 9-18 will hear about the opportunity to take a business idea and turn it into a business plan for a chance to win a Chromebook! Those who are 15-30 years old will find out about the Summer Company, a program that supports youth with guidance and startup money to setup a small business over the summer!
And finally, we will explore an opportunity for youth to join in on a sweet venture that will provide them with skills, will allow them to make some money, AND will help fund the operations of the Youth Clubhouse.
Topic: Youth Summer Business Presentations
