Edible Acres is a small family run farm located just east of Thorndale. Here we focus on growing a large variety of produce, with the focus on heirloom varieties using only organic seed. The majority of our produce goes out to our CSA customers, but also have seasonable produce available in our farm-gate store and at the local farmers' market. We also have free run chickens that are raised with GMO free feed, that give us a fresh supply of eggs that we are able to share with our friends, family and community. We raise a small flock of sheep that provide us with not only lamb, but a great source of fertilizer for our gardens. The newest addition to our farm is an adorable pair of KuneKune Pigs along with our first hive of busy Honeybees.

Other items that you will find at our farm-gate store include a selection of our homestead goodies such as preserves, honey, hand-made soaps, hand-crafted wooden serving trays, cutting-boards and soapdishes.  Come on by and see what's growing. Learn more.
